1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how VeriSight Analytics, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin ("VeriSight," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares personal information through this website, verisightanalytics.com.

This policy does not cover information we process for customers through AdmitScore™ or other services under a written agreement. That information is governed by the customer agreement and, where protected health information is involved, a Business Associate Agreement.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Give Us

We collect personal information you choose to give us when you submit the contact form on this website or email us. When you submit the contact form, we collect:

  • Your name, work email address, organization, and message (required)
  • If you choose to give them: your role (chosen from a list), phone number, number of facilities, approximate monthly referral packet volume, and main admissions challenge
  • How you reached the form: the page you first visited on this site, the previous page on this site, the link you clicked, and any campaign tags in the web address (for example, "utm_source")
  • The date and time of your submission

If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in the email.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Our hosting provider and our web server receive your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use IP addresses briefly to limit abusive form submissions and do not store them with contact-form submissions.
  • If you click "Allow" on our cookie banner, Google Analytics collects information such as pages viewed, time on page, the site that referred you, approximate location, device and browser type, and whether you start or submit the contact form (not what you type in it). If you click "Decline" or make no choice, Google Analytics does not load.
  • While you browse, your browser keeps a temporary note of the page you arrived on, the previous page on this site, the link you clicked, and any campaign tags. It is sent to us only if you submit the contact form, and your browser deletes it when you close the tab.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your message and follow up on your inquiry
  • Understand how the website is used and which pages and campaigns lead people to contact us
  • Keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse
  • Comply with the law

We do not add you to a mailing list or send newsletters. If we send you a business follow-up email, you can ask us to stop at any time.

4. Health Information

Do not send protected health information (PHI), patient records, referral packet excerpts, or other confidential clinical information through this website or by email. Our contact form may reject messages that appear to contain patient identifiers.

Any VeriSight service that involves PHI requires a signed Business Associate Agreement before any PHI is shared. That information is handled under that agreement, not this policy.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below.

5.1 Service Providers

We share personal information with these companies to help us run this website:

  • Microsoft Azure: website hosting and storage of contact-form submissions
  • Google: website analytics, only if you allow it (Google Analytics); and our business email (Google Workspace)
  • Resend: delivery of emails about contact-form submissions
  • Sentry: error monitoring. We remove form content and visitor details before error reports are sent.
  • Slack: internal alerts that a form was submitted. These alerts do not include your contact details or message.
  • Cloudflare: spam and bot protection on the contact form, if enabled

5.2 Other Disclosures

  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

6. Data Security

Information you send through this website is encrypted in transit. The website uses HTTPS (TLS) with HTTP Strict Transport Security. Contact-form submissions are stored with our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure), our email delivery provider (Resend), and our business email provider (Google Workspace), each of which states that it encrypts stored data by default.

We also use reasonable safeguards for information collected through this website. These include security headers, rate limits and spam checks on the contact form, limited access to submissions, and automated code, dependency, and secret scanning of the website's software. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We keep contact-form submissions and related emails for as long as we need them to respond to you, follow up on your inquiry, and keep ordinary business records, or longer if the law requires. You can ask us to delete them at any time (see section 8).

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you gave us through this website by emailing privacy@verisightanalytics.com or info@verisightanalytics.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within 45 days, or sooner if the law requires. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under applicable law, and we will honor them as that law requires.

You can also decline or withdraw consent to analytics cookies at any time (see Cookies and Similar Technologies).

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • Our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) sets two cookies, ARRAffinity and ARRAffinitySameSite, that keep your visit on the same server. They are deleted when you close your browser.
  • If you click "Allow" on our cookie banner, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_8VED9NG13Z to measure how the site is used. They can last up to two years. If you click "Decline," Google Analytics does not load.
  • We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage, and we keep a temporary note of how you arrived at the site in session storage (see Information Collected Automatically).
  • To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser settings and choose again when the banner reappears.
  • Do Not Track: Google Analytics runs only if you allow it. We do not otherwise respond to Do Not Track signals.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may change this policy. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information we already hold, we will take reasonable steps to let affected people know before the change applies. You can ask us for an earlier version using the contact details below.
